We are New Grain, and our dishes are made with a focus on highlighting the produce and bounty of Manitoulin Island. Our ingredient-driven style is approachable yet refined, showcasing the terroir of this beautiful Island where we live and work.

 

 When you dine with us, you are eating and supporting a slice of the North!

At our location in Gore Bay there is no entrance for guests, only a patio where you can come and dine. We are open from Thursday to Sunday from 5–9pm. Reservations by text are highly recommended (705) 920–9125 as we have a small dining space that books quickly during the summer months.

While you can find a sample menu here, we are seasonal and work closely with farmers, which means we change our menu every week (and sometimes daily). Our social media accounts always feature our latest menu options, and we encourage you to follow us to get the latest on what we're doing or up to next. If you're looking for our 48-hour fermented sourdough bread, we always try to have loaves at our shop. Knock at the window and we'll be happy to serve you.
